Meet Your Instructor

Hi, I'm Claire.

Yoga teacher, mom, and lifelong student of the practice.

From Taiwan to Colorado

I was born and raised in Taiwan, where movement and mindfulness were woven into everyday life. In 2000, I made the leap to the United States — a big change, a new chapter, and the start of building a life I love. Colorado has been home ever since, and Castle Rock is where my family has put down roots.

A Career in Business, a Heart in Yoga

Much of my professional life has been in Business Administration — structured, goal-oriented work that I found meaningful. But no matter how demanding things got, yoga was always there. It was the place I came back to when I needed to breathe, reset, and reconnect with myself. Over the years it stopped being something I fit into my schedule and became something I couldn't imagine living without.

Life Right Now

These days I'm a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful kids — a son and a daughter — and the everyday chaos of family life is something I genuinely treasure. Yoga keeps me grounded through all of it. I started Aspire Yoga because I wanted to share this practice with others the way it was shared with me — gently, accessibly, without pressure or judgment.

My Approach

I teach the way I learned — step by step, with patience. Whether you've never unrolled a mat or you're returning after years away, there's a place for you here. Yoga isn't about perfecting a pose. It's about showing up, breathing, and letting the practice meet you exactly where you are.

“Yoga is not about touching your toes. It's about what you learn on the way down.”

— Jigar Gor
